Landscaping/Maintenance
Monday through Friday, from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and after hours during emergencies, you will find the 30 member staff of this department planting flowers and shrubs, mowing turf, clipping hedges, painting signs, bollards and light poles, testing and repairing irrigation systems and supervising road/path maintenance, tree trimming and aquatic maintenance, including control of the lake levels within Boca West.
The staff, with an average tenure of about ten years of service, are dedicated and talented. They have one goal: keep Boca West looking beautiful. The Director of Landscaping/Maintenance, Lawson Turner, comes with a strong background in horticulture and landscaping maintenance. His keen eye and instincts ensure that plants thrive, shrubs are meticulously trimmed, turf is sharply edged, and all of nature’s wonders are healthy and glowing.
