Deputies and paramedics are trained to locate and attend to all victims of crime or health
emergencies anywhere within the country club community. Contracts with the Palm Beach County Sheriff and American Medical Response allow deputy sheriffs and state-certified paramedics to perform their duties at Boca West. These highly trained men and women elect to work at this community and do so in very close cooperation with personnel of the Security Department.
Deputies work eight-hour shifts and bring their assigned vehicles with them. Paramedics work twenty-four hour shifts and take up residence in the Paramedic station located behind the Landscaping/Maintenance Building at 19990A Boca West Drive. A new fully-equipped ambulance stays at the station for their use when needed.
